הסוחרים מצמצמים פעילות לקראת החג מתוך חוסר רצון להיתקע עם פוזיציות, כתוצאה מכך רשם הזהב את אחד הימים עם טווח המסחר מהנמוכים ביותר בחודשים האחרונים, טווח המסחר מגבוה יומי ועד נמוך יומי עמד על כ 7.5$ בלבד (להשוואה שלשום למרות הדשדוש הזהה הטווח עמד על 11$) , הזהב נסחר סביב הממוצע 20 היומי ונראה כי רק התרחשות מיוחדת תוציא את הזהב לתנועה מעבר לדשדוש , הזהב סיים את אתמול ללא שינוי בשער של 1,385$ לאונקיה, צפי להיום: ראו גרף
